Residuated fuzzy logics with an involutive negation

چکیده
Residuated fuzzy logic calculi are related to continuous t-norms, which are used as truth functions for conjunction, and their residua as truth functions for implication. In these logics, a negation is also definable from the implication and the truth constant 0, namely ¬φ isφ → 0. However, this negation behaves quite differently depending on the t-norm. For a nilpotent t-norm (a t-norm which is isomorphic to Ĺukasiewicz t-norm), it turns out that ¬ is an involutive negation. However, for t-norms without non-trivial zero divisors, ¬ is Gödel negation. In this paper we investigate the residuated fuzzy logics arising from continuous t-norms without non-trivial zero divisors and extended with an involutive negation.

A new axiomatization for involutive monoidal t-norm-based logic
On the real unit interval, the notion of a Girard monoid coincides with the notion of a t-norm-based residuated lattice with strong induced negation. A geometrical approach toward these Girard monoids, based on the notion of rotation invariance, is turned in an adequate axiomatization for the Involutive Monoidal T-norm-based residuated Logic (IMTL).
متن کاملT-norm-based logics with an independent involutive negation
In this paper we investigate the addition of arbitrary independent involutive negations to t-norm based logics. We deal with several extensions of MTL and establish general completeness results. Indeed, we will show that, given any t-norm based logic satisfying some basic properties, its extension by means of an involutive negation preserves algebraic and (finite) strong standard completeness. ...
متن کاملStructure Theorem for a Class of Group-like Residuated Chains à la Hahn
Hahn’s famous structure theorem states that totally ordered Abelian groups can be embedded in the lexicographic product of real groups. Our main theorem extends this structural description to order-dense, commutative, group-like residuated chains, which has only finitely many idempotents. It is achieved via the so-called partial-lexicographic product construction (to be introduced here) using t...
متن کاملAn approach to the variety IMTL(3)
We characterize, classify and axiomatize all subvarieties of IMTL(3), the variety of IMTL-algebras given by the equation ¬(x3) ∨ x ≈ >. We also give a canonical set of generators for each one. Introduction and preliminaries An IMTL-algebra is a bounded residuated lattice A = 〈A,∧,∨, ∗,→,¬,⊥,>〉, where ∧ and ∨ are meet and join, 〈∗,→〉 is a residuated pair, ¬ is the associated negation (i.e. ¬x =d...
متن کاملConstructive Logic with Strong Negation as a Substructural Logic
Gentzen systems are introduced for Spinks and Veroff’s substructural logic corresponding to constructive logic with strong negation, and some logics in its vicinity. It has been shown by Spinks and Veroff in [9], [10] that the variety of Nelson algebras, the algebras of constructive logic with strong negation N, is term-equivalent to a certain variety of bounded commutative residuated lattices ...
